Description

This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.201 requiring the dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is not a solicitation or request for quotes or proposals.� Therefore, no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Single Award Contract, to provide cryogenic blasting cleaning of an I-Level vessel�s ventilation system. This requirement is required to continue to maintain and support the Navy�s mission. The required service is commercial and prepared in accordance with the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The period of performance for this acquisition will begin immediately after contract award. The requirement will be solicited as total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this procurement is 336611, Shipbuilding and Repair, with a size standard of 1250 employees. The Product Service Code is J020. The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. The solicitation is not yet available. Once available, solicitation N42158-22-QS030 and subsequent amendments, if any, will be posted to SAM.gov. Prospective Offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and for frequently monitoring the SAM.gov website for solicitation amendments. The Government is not responsible for inability of the Offerors to access solicitation documents posted. Offerors must also be registered in the System for Award Management in order to participate in this procurement at http://www.sam.gov.
