- W912PM22B0010 Pre-solicitation Notice MOTSU-22018 Annual Roof Repairs, Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point (MOTSU), Southport, North Carolina The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to replace the roofs of Building 26 (Base Bid) and Building 32 (Optional Bid Item 1) at MOTSU in Southport, North Carolina. This work includes demolition of the existing single-ply membrane roofs and insulation down to the metal deck and replacing with a 2-ply modified bitumen roof system with new insulation. Penetrations and parapets will be re-flashed and the prefinished metal parapet cap will be replaced with new. The area to receive new roofing is approximately 10,400 square feet for Building 26 and 3,100 square feet for Building 32. All work shall be performed in accordance with the contract specifications, manufacturer�s recommendations, and applicable building codes. This contract will be Firm-Fixed Price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238160 � Roofing Contractors and the size standard is $16,500,000.00. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 28 April 2022. The proposal due date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc.) will be provided. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. This solicitation is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDBOSB) set-aside. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible to receive an award from any Government solicitation.
