Description

This Request for Quote (RFQ) is for the procurement of TWENTY-FIVE (25) thermal resistant battery containment bags.for the National Data Buoy Center (NDBC) located in Stennis Space Center, MS.� The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), NDBC at Stennis Space Center, MS intends to award a firm fixed price contract for 25 containment bags.This acquisition is being processed under the procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This constitutes the only Request for Quotation (RFQ) written offers are being requested. This notice is hereby issued as RFQ No.1305M222QNWWG0042. This RFQ and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-02. The line items shall be provided in accordance with the specifications listed in the attached solicitation SF- 1449 document. The government requires all contractors doing business with the government to be�registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). For additional information and to register in SAM, please access the following website: www.sam.gov. In order to register with SAM and to be eligible for an award must have a�unique entity identifier (UEI) that is used to do business with the federal government. The Government has moved to a free new, non-proprietary identifier that will have to be requested in, and assigned by, the System for Award Management (SAM.gov). You can register and access the site by going to�www.sam.gov. Award will not be made to any contractor that is not registered in SAM. Please carefully review and follow the Offeror Instructions in the solicitation documents. The NAICS code for this action is 339999 and is set aside 100 percent for small businesses.�The Government intends to make an award to the responsive responsible quoter providing the lowest price technically acceptable. The Government reserves the right to make a comparative evaluation of quotes in determining best value in accordance with FAR 13.106-2(b)(3). ""Best value"" means the expected outcome of an acquisition that, in the Government's estimation, provides the greatest overall benefit in response to the requirement. Quotes should be e-mailed directly to Nikki.Radford@noaa.gov. Faxed quotes will not be accepted. Please contact Nikki Radford directly with any questions regarding this solicitation. Quoters must submit all questions concerning this solicitation by written e-mail within 3 days of the issuance of this solicitation.
