- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.603 Streamlined solicitation for commercial products or commercial services, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is�12405B22Q0078�and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). �The associated NAICS Code is�325414 Biological Product (except Diagnostic) Manufacturing.� This solicitation document incorporates those provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-04. Description of Work: The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agriculture Research Service, Southern Regional Research Center, New Orleans, LA location has a requirement for PepStar peptide microarrays - arrays printing (further arrays of batch).� 3286 peptide synthesis and spotting on 400 glass slides for screening with antibodies, allergic human sera.� Proprietary immobilization techniques to produce peptide microarrays on glass or plastic surfaces.� The peptides are pre?synthesized and essentially affinity purified (in contrast to in situ synthesis directly on the surface). �They are then immobilized covalently via a long hydrophilic linker.� Microarrays are produced in a standard slide format compatible with ""normal"" scanners. �A low volume of assay solution is needed for each microarray experiment. �Incubations of glass slides can be performed with very low amounts of fluorescently labelled proteins or antibodies. DOCUMENTS TO BE INCLUDED IN QUOTE:� In order to be considered for award, Offerors shall respond by submitting: One (1) original fully completed and signed SF-18 (complete Blocks 13, 14, 15, and 16); include unit price and total amount for each CLIN listed, quotation should be valid for at least 60 days after receipt of quotation. Providing all associated documents identified in the attached clauses and provisions document, specifically 52.212-1 Instruction for the Preparation of Offers.� Have an active DUNS and SAM.gov registration and complete the Representations in FAR 52.204-24 prior to submission of quotation; the Representation and Certification section should also be completed electronically in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.beta.sam.gov. Failure to provide the required information in the requested format may result in quotes not being considered for award. FAR clauses 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-3, 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 (and any addenda to those clauses) are included in the attached clauses and provisions document.� Additionally, other contract requirements and terms/conditions can be located in the same document. All interested firms wishing to furnish a quotation shall furnish a quotation by Thursday, April 14, 2022, no later than 3:00 p.m. Central Time (CT).� Quotations are to be sent via email to Monte Jordan @ monte.jordan@usda.gov.
