- Description
- Sources Sought Notice For HCHV Emergency Contract Housing The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office 21 is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of Emergency Contract Housing Program Services for VA beneficiaries in the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System, Island of Oahu, HI. The proposed NAICS Code is 623220, Residential Mental Health and Substance Abuse Facilities. Services Required: The Department of Veteran Affairs Pacific Health Care System (VAPIHCS) through the Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Emergency Contract Housing program provides care, treatment and rehabilitative services to homeless veterans in the Pacific Region. It is the purpose of this program to provide these veterans a safe residential setting for a temporary period while addressing their immediate needs by accessing appropriate resources and supports with the goal to obtain permanent housing and end their homelessness. To provide the care, treatment and rehabilitative services required the VA- HCHV program to contract with agencies and/or organizations (Contractors) to stabilize the veterans needed medical, mental health, substance abuse and other psychosocial problems in the short term so the veteran can transition into other appropriate transitional or permanent housing.
