Description

The purpose of this amendment to the RFQ is to answer questions posed by vendors. Questions and Answers for RFQ 626C24922Q0222 Hoptel Lodging Service-Nashville Question 1.  Transportation from Hotel to Medical center, does the hotel have to provide this service or can we partner with local transportation company and this is at the cost of the patient? Answer 1: The hotel is responsible for the transportation to and from the VA. The vendor must have onsite service. The Veteran cannot be charged for or have to pay for it. Question 2. The hotels have our standard HVAC system and we do not require any additional system to maintain moisture or water intrusion.  Does the hotel require any additional systems to comply with your noted below? Water Intrusion Plan - The hotel is to have a written interior moisture prevention and water intrusion event management program that includes aggressive drying using mold remediation industry standard type dehumidifiers, fans and drying methods as listed in paragraph 4.10 above. Answer 2: The vendor needs to have a written plan stating what the response/procedure is to water leaks/damage to abate/prevent any moisture issues.
