- The Northwest Regional Maintenance Center at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS &IMF) is conducting market research to determine industry capability�to perform COVID-19 testing on site. The Government is seeking responses from responsible sources who exhibit the ability to test on-site and obtain test results within 30 minutes of administering each COVID-19 test. A physical testing site shall be established within 1000 feet of an authorized entry point of PSNS & IMF but outside the Controlled Industrial Area (CIA). What/Where to Submit: Interested companies shall submit, on company letterhead, a notice of capability to include the name, telephone number, mailing address, and e-mail address of one point of contact, along with the responses to questions below.� Please hand or digitally sign your notice of capability and e-mail it to the Government contacts listed below, with ""PSNS & IMF COVID TESTING� Sources Sought Response"" in the subject field.� The notice of capability should include a brief description of your company and its competencies as they relate to the requirements set forth in the description shown above, and provide answers to the following specific questions.� Please limit your response to no more than five (5) pages. 1.� What experience does your company have with the emergent COVID testing? 2.��� Explain how your company can administer up to 300 COVID-19 tests per day, 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday (3 work shifts), with an additional contingency capability of up to 150 COVID-19 tests per day. 3.�� Explain how your company will administer COVID testing and deliver results within 30 minutes after testing? 4.� Explain your company�s pricing arrangement for this type of service. 5.� When your company performs this service, how many calendar days does your company need after the contract award date, before you can provide services? [� ] Immediately�� �������[� ] 10 days����� [� ] 15 days����� [� ] 30 days����� [� ] other ____________ 6.� Provide business type (small or large) and whether your company falls under a specific socioeconomic concern as defined by the Small Business Administration (SBA). 7.� Does your company have a satisfactory of performance record for the type of work required?� Please provide examples of relevant and recent (within three years) past performance. 8.� Does your company have the necessary organization, experience, accounting and operational controls, and technical skills, or the ability to obtain them (including, as appropriate, such elements as production control procedures, property control systems, quality assurance measures, and safety programs applicable to materials to be produced or services to be performed by the prospective contractor and subcontractors)? 9.� Given the requirements described above, would your company be interesting in performing work related to this notice under any subsequent solicitations? �Responses shall be submitted by email, to angela.charpia@navy.mil or�remodino.delacruz@navy.mil��no later than 12:30PM PST, on 14 April 2022. THIS IS A SOURCE SOUGHT ONLY.� This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes � it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future.� This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.� Further, the Navy is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals.� Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Sources Sought; all costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought will be solely at the interested party�s expense.� Not responding to this Sources Sought does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued.� If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the https://sam.gov website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. Information provided shall be treated as Business Sensitive or Confidential to the responder, exempt from public release under the Freedom of Information Act.� PSNS&IMF may request further information regarding the capabilities of respondents to meet the requirements set forth in this announcement.� This Sources Sought announcement is released in accordance with FAR 15.201. Information provided in response to this Sources Sought announcement will not be considered an offer by the responding contractor and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
