- Description
- Request is for a dilution refrigerator cryostat system. The cryostat should be capable of achieving ultra low temperature (10 miili-Kelvin) that is necessary for various high energy physics experiments such as Cosmic Microwave Background, Dark Matter and Quantum Information Science. Our requirement is that the system can reach 10 milli-Kelvin with a cooling power that exceeds 10 micro-Watt of power. We also need the system to be able to reach 100 milli-Kelvin with a cooling power that exceeds 400 micro-Watt of power We also need the cryostat to have an ability to stay cold without using a pulse-tube cooler. The Pulse Tube cooler uses a compressor and helium gas to extract heat from the system, but it introduces electrical noise and vibration into the system.
