Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center (CCDC AC) intends to issue a sole source Request for Quote to Thompson Gray Inc. 4042 Balmoral Drive SW, Suite 300, Huntsville, AL, 35801, CAGE Code 56D84 pursuant to FAR 13.501(a) for Congressional Analysis and Resource Database System (CARDS) username and passwords which they are the only provider of access to this database. This purchase is to provide access to Top News, Real-time/Recent Updates, Early Bird daily news articles, Status of Key Legislation, External RSS News Feeds, Weekly Updates/Archive, Newsletter/Archives, Hearing Schedules, Hearings Archive, Calendar, Relational Database of Marks and Language, Program Funding Charts, Appropriations Status Charts, National Defense Authorization Act, Supplemental Appropriations Act, Military Construction and Veterans, Affairs Appropriations Act, Defense Appropriations Act, Other Bills of Interest, Member Adds/Earmarks, Report Requirements, Member Bios, Committee Info, Defense Oversight Committees Info., Executive Branch Leadership Bios, Guidance Documents, DoD Facilities, Archives/References. There are no other authorized vendors for this software. The resultant contract shall be awarded as a twelve (12) month base, Firm Fixed Price, contract with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. The authority being utilized for the proposed effort is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The NAICS code for this effort is 519130 and the small business size standard is 1000 Employees. � For this effort the contractor is to provide username and passwords that will access to the CARDS database for access to Top News, Real-time/Recent Updates, Early Bird daily news articles, Status of Key Legislation, External RSS News Feeds, Weekly Updates/Archive, Newsletter/Archives, Hearing Schedules, Hearings Archive, Calendar, Relational Database of Marks and Language, Program Funding Charts, Appropriations Status Charts, National Defense Authorization Act, Supplemental Appropriations Act, Military Construction and Veterans, Affairs Appropriations Act, Defense Appropriations Act, Other Bills of Interest, Member Adds/Earmarks, Report Requirements, Member Bios, Committee Info, Defense Oversight Committees Info., Executive Branch Leadership Bios, Guidance Documents, DoD Facilities, Archives/References, all of which concern Congressional level information. Thompson Gray Inc. is currently the only vendor that can provide the username and passwords for access to this database. THIS SYNOPSIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ). Further, this synopsis does not guarantee of a future RFQ and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government. Responses to this synopsis are not considered proposals/quotes, and, cannot be accepted by the Government to form a bidding contract.
