Description

Headquarters, US Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI), has a requirement to apply cover crop seed and fertilizer mix to�agricultural tracts 21, 38 and 47 at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant (IAAAP) in accordance with the terms and conditions of Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Number W52P1J-09-G-0001. The fertilizer will be applied at a rate of 100# of ammonium sulfate, 10# Manganese sulfate and 10# of borax per acre. The cover crop seed will be 40-45# winter rye per acre following soybeans or 5# each winter white radish and purple top turnip per acre following small grains. Estimated acreage 42 for soybeans and 120 for small grains. The fertilizer and seed shall be applied as soon as possible (within 3 days) after the cash crop is harvested. Any longer than 3 days would require a pre-approved weather delay. It is anticipated that this procurement will result in an award to American Ordnance LLC who is the Operating Contractor at IAAAP. Authority for this contract action shall be the Government Property Clause FAR 52.245-1 and will be effected as a task order under the existing BOA that is in place through Calendar Year 2033. Reference for this action shall be Request for Proposal (RFP) W52P1J-22-R-0036. This notification has been posted for subcontracting purposes only.� Please note: This notice does not constitute a RFP. Response to this announcement are not proposals and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This is not a guarantee of a future RFP or an award.
