Description

NAICS Code: 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction The 138 FW Contracting Office intends to issue an Invitation for Bids to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the upgrade of the force protection at Air National Guard Base in Tulsa, Oklahoma.�The base bid will consist of replacement of the main gates at the Tulsa ANG main base, the replacement of the opener at the east/commercial entrance, a small walkthrough gate installation and various fencing repairs. � In addition to a base price for the work described above, the solicitation includes Options for this project. 1. Additional fence and swing gate at location 93rd Ave, east of building 220. 2. Additional gate operator at location north of building 501. 3. Bollards at N. 42 Street Gate. Magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Construction/contract completion time is 90 calendar days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220. This is a total small business set-aside. The small business size standard is $39.5 million average annual revenue for the previous three years. Your attention is directed to FAR Clause 52.219-14(e)(3) (DEVIATION 2019-O0003), LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING, which states �By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror�/Contractor agrees in performance of the contract in the case of a contract for General construction, it will not pay more than 85 percent of the amount paid by the Government for contract performance, excluding the cost of materials, to subcontractors that are not similarly situated entities. Any work that a similarly situated entity further subcontracts will count toward the 85 percent subcontract amount that cannot be exceeded�. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or about 04 May 2022 . The tentative date for the pre-bid conference is on or about 12 May 2022, 9:00 a.m. local time, location will be in the solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow conference registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation. A site visit will follow the pre-bid conference.�All questions for the pre-bid conference must be submitted by 25 May 2022� via email to 138.FW.MSC@us.af.mil. The bid opening date is scheduled for on-or about 02 June 2022. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation.
