Description
The USDA, Forest Service (FS), Southwest Zone, has an anticipated requirement to furnish and Provide all labor, equipment, and material to accomplish the work under this project at three locations around Lake Isabella on Sequoia National Forest land. Work includes but is not limited to the following major items: A. Sewage Systems: 1. Demolish and dispose sewer systems at eight (8) toilet locations (one at Camp 9 CG and seven at Tillie Creek CG). Pump and rinse out septic tanks; drill a 4-inch hole in the bottom of the vault for drainage; demolish and remove all septic tank components to 2 feet below ground surface; demolish top of septic tank; and backfill and compact the septic tanks with approved backfill to flush with adjacent grade. Three sewer systems at Tillie Creek CG include dosing tanks with the septic tanks; to be demolished similar to septic tanks. B. Secondary Overhead Electrical Service: 1. Disconnect and remove secondary overhead electrical service from well house to three toilet locations, including poles, wiring, and accessories. Salvage poles without damage and stockpile for the government adjacent to the pump house. Backfill and compact holes left from poles or buried utility boxes. C.Accessible Sidewalks at Toilets: 1. Construct accessible sidewalks at double vault toilet buildings as listed below at three locations around Lake Isabella as Shown on the Drawings, including earthwork, formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement, finishing, and cleanup. a. Camp 9 CG � i. Two locations with pairs of double vault toilets (double doubles) ii. Four locations with individual double vault toilets b. South Fork Recreation Area � i. One location with a pair of double vault toilets (double double) c. Tillie Creek CG � i. Seven locations with pairs of double vault toilets (double doubles) D. Accessible Parking at Toilets: 1. Construct one accessible parking space at vault toilet buildings as listed below at three locations around Lake Isabella as Shown on the Drawings, including earthwork, formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement, finishing, and cleanup. a. Camp 9 CG � ii. Two locations with pairs of double vault toilets (double doubles) iii. One location with individual double vault toilet.
