All information received in response to this notice is marked as proprietary and will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice. This notice is being issued in an attempt to determine the level of interest among all socioeconomic groups. Responses will assist VA planners in determining an appropriate acquisition and set-aside strategy which best fits VA requirements. The Altoona VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 2907 Pleasant Valley Boulevard, Altoona, PA 16602 is performing market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified: (1) Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); (2) Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB); (3) Small or emerging small business firms (SB or other); or (4) large business (LB) firms to set aside a single award five year contract for fitness and wellness services. The Altoona VAMC is seeking a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to offer fitness and wellness services to their Veteran patients. The contractor shall provide an estimated one hundred fifty (150) individual adult, annual memberships to be used at their facility for the Veteran patients receiving services through the Altoona VAMC. The Altoona VAMC will be the responsible party deciding which Veterans shall have access to the contractor s facility seven (7) days a week during the contractor s facility hours of operation. Attached is the DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) in accordance with this requirement. The anticipated period of performance is September 1, 2022, for a total of five years. See Attached document containing information being requested in connection with this requirement.
