- Solicitation SPE300-22-R-0017 is designed to place Market Ready Fresh Bakery (Bread) items, all fully competitive, on contract for various Department of Defense (�DoD�) ships and land based customers in the Tidewater, York River, and Norfolk, Virginia Zone. The resultant contract(s) will be issued as a firm-fixed price Indefinite Quantity Contracts (IQC�s) for all items for the entire term of the contract. The contract period will be from August 7th, 2022 to August 2nd, 2025.This acquisition will be issued on an unrestricted basis.� The total length of the contract will be three (3) years.� It contains two (2) eighteen month tiers. The solicitation contains two groups: Group 1: Ship Customers in the Tidewater, York River, and Norfolk, Virginia Zone Group 2: Land Based Customers in the Tidewater, York River, and Norfolk, Virginia Zone All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by DLA Troop Support. Copies of the solicitation will be found on the DLA BSM internet Bid Board Systems (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil If not registered; prospective offerors will be required to do so prior to reviewing and downloading a copy of the solicitation. Requests for Proposals are in Portable Document Format (PDF). In order to download and view these documents, prospective offerors will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. The software is available free at http://adobe.com The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with offerors.� Therefore, the offeror�s initial offer should contain the offeror�s best terms from a price and technical standpoint.� However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary.
