Description

This Special Notice is issued to engage with Industry to provide updates for the potential Sustainable Flight Demonstrator (SFD) requirement. NASA will be hosting an Industry Day at 8:30am PT, 20 Apr 2022. The event will consist of one (1) hour overview of the updates made to the SFD requirements and provide the Industry a one (1) hour one-on-one question and answer session between individual Industry teams and with the NASA team. If your company is interested in participating in the one-on-one session, a request must be submitted to James G. Williams, james.g.williams-1@nasa.gov and Rosalia Toberman, rosalia.toberman-1@nasa.gov no later than 10:00am PT, 18 Apr 2022. The request must provide the primary Point of Contact�s (POC) name, title, email, and phone number. An alternate POC may be identified. NASA will assign time slots based on number of requests received. The one-on-one Industry Day invite and a copy of the Industry Day presentation will be submitted to the identified POC(s). A preferred time may be requested but is not guaranteed. This is not a solicitation. NASA AFRC is not requesting or accepting proposals. The information provided and/or gathered from this Industry Day will assist NASA in finalizing the potential requirement. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this Special Notice. All questions should be directed to the contracting officer identified below. The Government may not respond to questions/concerns submitted. It is the interested party�s responsibility to monitor this website for the release of any subsequent solicitation or synopsis. NASA FAR Supplement Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Ombudsman for this acquisition is Bradley Flick, bradley.c.flick@nasa.gov, 661-276-3769. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 541715 and 1,500 respectively.
