Description

The Commander Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) hereby gives notice of their intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to Advanced Simulation Technology, Inc., 500A Huntmar Park Drive, Herndon, VA 20170 on a sole source basis. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.405-6(a) (C), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. COMFRC HQ, Telestra IA Software Maintenance Subscription COMFRC requires software maintenance and security patch support for the Telestra SN 52107 computer. �Software patches are required on a monthly basis.� Additionally, telephone and e-mail support is required for the period of performance.� This requirement is a follow-on to previously procured Software Maintenance Subscription. Advanced Simulation Technology, Inc. is the designer, developer and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Telestra SN 52107 computer, and retains all the proprietary /technical data rights required in order to perform approved and necessary updates.� The Telestra computer resides in the MH60RS Test Bench. Included in the purchase:� - ����������� Upgrade Voisus Software to the Latest Version and Feature Set - ����������� Software and IA Maintenance Subscription -������������ Monthy IA Updates for 12 Month period THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement without impacting the requirement.� A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
