Description

NAVFAC PWD Indian Head intends to issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Atlas Copco Compressors, LLC to provide annual 8,000 hours preventative maintenance on four (4) each Atlas Copco, Model ZT250VSD8, 6/10,4bar FF air compressors and perform annual preventive maintenance and oil change on one (1) Atlas Copco, Model GA45 7,5-10bar FF HD air compressor. Preventive Maintenance 8000 hour service on Model ZT250VSD8 Take service reading (air, oil, water T=P) Change air filter elements Replace filter element of gear case breather Check cycle of air intake throttle valve Replace diaphragm of air throttle valve Replace bearing block of air intake valve Check motor coupling alignment Check coolers functions Check functioning of check valve Check condition balance piston diaphragm Check/clean condensate drains Grease main drive motor bearings Clean fan cowl of electric motor Check rubber inserts drive coupling Check for air, water, and oil leakage Replace cubicle filters Take full set of S. P. M. readings Blast clean cubicle, dry air max. 1bar Check loose wiring and connections cubicle Replace carbon brush Check sensitive bolt/coupling connections Measure dew point Check regulator cooler, clean interior and exterior Replace diaphragm of drain Check rotation of motor/gears/rotor Inspect demister sponge and replace if necessary Clean injector nozzle breather needle Check safety valve and switches Check for presence of water in lube oil Change compressor oil filter Check condition of air intake chamber Perform Annual Preventive Maintenance and Change Oil on Model GA45 Check service readings (converter) Check condition of air intake chamber Check condition of cooling fan assembly Check and clean cooling fins Check LAT (FF units) Clean condenser (FF units) Change compressor oil filter Change air filter elements Change oil Check electrical components Overhaul water drain Change oil separator element Overhaul oil injection valve Change thermostatic valve Overhaul minimum press valve Replace cubicle filters Check Elektronikon functions Check for air, water, and oil leakage Check safety valve and switches Check and clean condensate drains Check oil and aftercooler, clean external Check temperatures and pressures Check oil level Replace diaphragm of drain The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Atlas Copco Compressors, LLC. under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, inquiries received within 15 days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice of intent is for information purposes only. All sources eligible to meet this requirement must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence that clearly articulates the company�s ability to satisfy this requirement as outlined above. A request for documentation will be not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses are received within 15 calendar days after publications of this notice, to demonstrate comparable capability, then a sole source acquisition ware will be made.
