McNary Entrance Weir Caps Sources Sought Notice: W912EF22RSS15 The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking sources to provide personnel, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision and other items and services for the following: The work is located at McNary Dam in southeastern Washington/northeastern Oregon along the Columbia River near Umatilla, Oregon.� This will be a firm-fixed-price construction contract that consists of project will include non- structural modifications of four structural steel fish ladder weirs from McNary Dam for improved lamprey passage. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 332312 Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing and the associated small business size standard is 500 employees. This is not a solicitation. This sources-sought announcement is a tool to identify businesses with the capability to accomplish the work. Firms who respond to this announcement by submitting the following information will be used in determining whether to set aside this requirement. Please do not respond to this notice unless you will be responding to the solicitation Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following information:� � A.)� A capability statement expressing interest in this requirement, describing your company and its capability to complete a project� � of this scope, magnitude, and complexity.� Include a statement detailing any special qualifications and certifications, applicable to the scope of this project, held by your firm and/or in-house personnel. � �B.)� A reference list for each of the projects submitted in A) above.� Include the name, title, phone number, and email address for each reference. � �C.) Provide a statement of your firm�s business size status (HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), small disadvantaged,� or woman-owned) with regards to the NAICS code listed above.� � �D.)� �Provide a statement that your firm intends to submit an offer on the project when it is advertised. � �E.)� Provide a statement of your firm�s bonding capacity.� A statement from your surety is NOT required. � � F.)� �Cage Code and DUNS number. This sources sought notice is for market research and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to pay for information submitted in response to this request. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the market analysis and debriefings will not be available. It is the reader's responsibility to monitor the Government Point of Entry (GPE) via SAM.gov Contract Opportunities for any resultant or future solicitation package(s) that may be issued. Submit this information to LeAnne Walling, Contract Specialist, via email to Leanne.R.Walling@usace.army.mil.� Your response to this notice must be received on or before 3:00 pm on 29 April 2022 Summary of Scope of Work: McNary Lock and Dam is located on the Columbia River.� This project will include non- structural modifications of four structural steel fish ladder weirs from McNary Dam for improved lamprey passage. The weirs are approximately 3,500 lbs., each. �The Contractor will provide Professional engineering services to complete design details and drawings, based on the provided conceptual drawings and a written scope. The Contractor will pickup of the weirs at McNary Dam and take the weirs to the Contractors facilities for modifications. Once the modifications are complete the Contractor will deliver them back to McNary Dam. Operations criteria for the fish ladder outages will require the weirs to be modified two at a time. The work widows to complete the work are time critical to avoid disruption of the fish ladder operation. The first two weirs will be picked up the first week in January and returned the end of January. The second pair of two weirs will be picked up the first week in February and returned the end of February. Work must be completed on the first two weirs so the first fish ladder can be put back into operation before the second fish ladder can be shut down to work on the last two weirs. Modifications will include putting a steel rounded cap on the top of the weir and installing plastic sheeting on part of the sides of the weirs. The steel cap will be painted with high performance submersible Vinyl paint systems.
