THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following supplies in support of the VA Portland Health Care System s (VAPORHCS) Vancouver Washington Campus: VAPORCS has a need for an anatomically correct, realistic adult human torso for research and development imaging purposes Brand Name or Equal to: DESCRIPTION PART # True Phantom Solutions - Adult Human Torso Advanced R&D for Imaging purposes only. Anatomically correct size and structure Realistic body tissue-mimicking material Realistic bones for US imaging Anatomically correct rib cage Anatomically correct spine Anatomically correct pelvis bone Anatomically correct Heart phantom Aorta Vena cava 2 Atria, 2 Ventricles 4 valves Esophagus tube Realistic liver, kidney, and Lungs Large & small Intestines, and bladder Stomach & diaphragm Spleen & Pancreas Customization in pathology: Hemorrhages in liver, pericardium, and urinary bladder Customization of Tumors: Bile duct obstructing the bile outflow, left renal tumor, and anal tumor Customization around Heart: Aortic aneurysm extended below the heart Addition & Customization in axillary lymph anatomy: Enlarged axillary lymph nodes on one side and Normal on the other Customized Colon polyps inside intestines (x3) Product Manual 2-year warranty TO-A02 Pelican Hard Carry & Storage Case with Wheels N/A Salient Characteristics: Compatible with Ultrasound, and X-RAY/CT. Realistic in appearance, touch, feel, and anatomy. Comes with a mechanical pump that enables the beating functionality in a static heart. Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system, verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM. Potential candidates having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated supplies at a fair and reasonable price are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to Jennifer Robles at jennifer.robles1@va.gov no later than April 20, 2022, 5PM PST. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: Company name, address, SAM Unique Entity Identifier and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; whether services are presently offered on a current GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract. NAICS Code 333318, Size Standard: 1,000 employees is applicable to determine business size standard. The Government may or may not issue a solicitation as a result of this announcement. There is no solicitation available at this time.
