- Description
- The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) New Orleans District has the following requirement:� Sand Placement Contract #2 (SP2) consists of clearing and grubbing, stump removal, placement of sand fill to EL. +3.0 in a marshy area, three canal crossings, one pipeline crossing, and other incidental work.� The base contract is 58505LF, Option 1 is 1550 LF, and Option 2 is 3289 LF, for a total of 10689 LF if all options are exercised.� The width of the sand placement is 100 LF.� An access road needs to be built north and south of Frenier Road:� 43 LF on the north side and 80 LF on the south side. In accordance with DFARS 236.204, the magnitude of the work is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00.� Amendment: Sand Placement Contract #2 (SP2) is being changed from a Request for Proposal (RFP)�to an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The new Solicitation Number will be W912P822B0030 All questions are due by March 30, 2022 by 11:00am. Amendment 0001 - Include changes to the Solicitation as show n on the attached sheets; Extend the Questions Due Date to April 6, 2022 at 11:00am Amendment 0002 - Respond to Questions, Make Changes to the Specifications and Plans, Open the Solicitation to Questions. All Questions will be due on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 2:00pm. No other questions will be accepted after this date, Extend the Bid Opening Date to Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 11:00am
