- Description
- Questions and Answers Is the intent of the new tanks to be placed in the same vicinity as the existing tanks on the Northwest side of the VAMC adjacent to the physical plant building? Yes, the tank will be in the same place. Additional easement is assumed to be needed from UK. Surveyor will need to do research on existing easements and prepare new easement. Is the boundary survey objective to define the boundary of the VAMC parcel and to draft the new easement on the adjacent parcel and will the geometry be contiguous with the VAMC parcel? Yes, the boundary of the VAMC needs to be defined and a drawing generated showing the outline of the buildings. Unsure what will the geometry be contiguous with the VAMC parcel means. Please clarify. Are there other existing easements in the vicinity of the desired easement location, and is there any concern as to the right, title or interest they convey relative to the new easement or how it will affect them? Research will need to be done. Some records are available. Work with UK s land office is anticipated. Will the VA be providing the record documents for the boundary survey and the record research of any title issues on the adjoining property being encumbered by the new easement? VA will provide all documents it has available. Research is anticipated at the courthouse and with UK. Will physical access to gated and fenced areas be permitted during the performance of the site survey? Yes, a VAMC representative will be available for escort of contractor. Are underground utilities a factor in the performance of the site survey, are Subsurface Utility Engineering, Utility Designate services needed? Not anticipated. Please clarify this question. The Oxygen pad will be in the same location. Does the VA have existing boundary and site surveys, record drawings or other documents that they can provide to the selected professional? If so when were those surveys performed and are there digital (CAD) files that correspond to those surveys? VAMC will provide all existing documentation, but it is not all inclusive. There are no CAD files and the contractor will be expected to provide this as a deliverable.
