- Amendment 006 posts Question and Answers Amendment 005 extends response date and provide site visit POC. Amendment 004 schedules site visit for March 23, 2022 at 9:30 AM. Email Kimberly Schneider, krschneider@usgs.gov, if you plan to attend. Amendment 003 removes the Small Business set-aside; this acquisition is Unrestricted. The U.S. Geological Survey Columbia Environmental Research Center (CERC) in Columbia, Missouri has a requirement to stabilize their A3 Main Building to correct and prevent further settling of the building due to foundation and expansive soil deficiencies. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: Adding steel helical piles to shore up the foundation along the length of North and East perimeter at the corner and basement columns. Removal of high plastic clay beneath the slab, re-preparing the subgrade soil by moisture conditioning and compacting and reconstructing the slab. Replacement of below-slab mechanical air duct system. Rebuilding top several courses of load-bearing CMU and brick masonry walls where misaligned. Re-anchoring masonry wall to precast concrete roof planks. Removal, re-anchoring and reinstallation of existing aluminum and glass windows. Removal and replacement of sections of foamed-in-place roofing system at perimeter of the building. Replacing metal copings and flashing. Replacing interior partitions with new metal stud partition walls. Replacing existing interior lighting, controls, power and data, new interior floor, wall and ceiling. Removal and replacement of portions of existing concrete walk affected by the work. Restoring site lawn areas affected by the work. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary. Delivery date is NTP +180 calendar days. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
