NOTICE Type: Sources Sought / Market Research for Digital Vehicle Distribution Box (DVDB) Repair and Upgrade This is a SOURCES SOUGHT / MARKET RESEARCH notice to request information for Government planning purposes only. Responses will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. The Government is not committed to issue a solicitation or award a contract as a result of this announcement. �Army Contracting Command - Detroit (ACC-DTA) is seeking qualified and capable potential vendors. �Since this is a sources-sought synopsis and not a solicitation for receipt of proposals or quotations, the Government does not encourage questions concerning this market research. This Request for Information (RFI) is for the service of the DVDB (NSN: 5855-01-537-1406 PN:12484070 or NSN: 5855-01-588-5668� PN:12484070-1). The U.S. Army, Detroit Arsenal, is seeking prospective contractors for the Repair and Repair and Upgrade a Wired Housing Assembly otherwise known as the Digital Vehicle Distribution Box (DVDB) for the Bradley M2A3 and M3A3 platform. The Government does not own the technical data package for the DVDB. The DVDB assembly is a power distribution and control box for the automotive and diagnostic systems of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. Business size and eligibility under USG social-economic programs and preference:� ________________________________________________________ i.� If your company is interested in responding to this RFI for the Repair and Repair/Upgrade of DVDBs, provide the following information: Explain how your company would repair DVDB Part Number 12484070-1 Revision T, to return them to Condition Code A. Explain how your company would upgrade DVDB P/N from 12484070 and 12484070-1 Rev �S or lower to 12484070-1-Revision T and repair them to Condition Code A. Explain if your company has the capability at any time to repair and repair and upgrade up to a quantity of 336 each DVDBs per year at a rate of 28 each every 30 days for a 5 year period either constantly or intermittently (ie, break in production). Servicing a total of up to 1680 each. Explain if your company has experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) in Repair and Repair/Upgrade of the P/Ns listed above or DoD items similar to the Bradley DVDB (include contract numbers and award dates). Statements of your firm�s expertise should include reference to relevant contracts performed (including a description of the scope, quantity serviced, contract number, and point of contact with phone number). All interested firms and manufacturers, regardless of size, may respond to this request for information. Information submissions can include product literature and illustrations, relevant company background/experience.� Information submissions must be received no later than 10 days following posting of the RFI.� Responses should be addressed to Lisa Roulo, at the following address: lisa.r.roulo.civ@army.mil Again, this information is being requested for Government planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to any contractual agreement.
