Description: This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). �This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be constructed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. �THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR BIDS. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District, requests e-mail �of interest from PRIME CONTRACTORS interested in performing work on a potential design-bid-build construction for the FY22 OMA Repair Building 118, Wheeler Army Airfield, Oahu, Hawaii Project Description: Repair Building 118, Wheeler Army Airfield, Oahu, Hawaii This firm-fixed price design-bid-build (DBB) Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (SRM) project to repair building 118 includes renovations to repair existing barracks modules: demolish and replace all exterior walls, doors, finishes, appliances, plumbing and light fixtures.� Repair work for Building 118 shall meet or exceed UEPH Army Standards (10 Jul 2012) and conform to Standard Design layout per 2/1 Market Style Plan (20 Apr 2012) to the �maximum extent possible�. Other support spaces shall meet UEPH Army Standards to the �maximum extent possible�. Renovated functional layout reflects existing Barracks living units to remain on Ground, first thru Third Floors. Renovated layout reflects a reduced total of 84PN (from 85PN), due to dedicated stacked utility core modules on each floor. Renovated layout of barracks units complies with the following mandatory requirements: � Elevator is not provided as building is less four stories. � Barracks sleeping rooms complies with minimum 140 NSF requirement. � Barracks room closets complies with minimum 32 NSF requirement. � Living area complies with minimum 90 NSF requirement. Includes Kitchen and Dining area accommodating dining table and two chairs. � Provide Kitchen with double bowl stainless steel sink, 2 burner electric cooktop with non-vented hood, base and wall cabinet linear footage with cabinet shelf for microwave and refrigerator space. Refrigerators are NIC and provided by USAG-HI Housing Division. Built in upper and lower cabinetry with microwave shelf and cooktop range hood. Space for minimum 10.3 cubic foot size refrigerator required. Actual: 2�-1� width provided for refrigerator, and microwave is NIC. � Shared Laundry Room with service sink and folding counter located on each floor. First thru Third Floors 28 PN: minimum 4 washers and 5 dryers required. Ground Floor 4 PN: minimum 1 washer and 1 dryer required. � Support space: Vending area and Recycle Room provided on First Floor. � Accessible Toilet Room and CQ Office provided on First Floor. � Main Lobby not provided. Existing footprint of single loaded corridors does not provide an enclosed lobby on the First Floor. � Support Space: boot wash: since no interior Main Lobby or corridors, boot wash determined not necessary. Project magnitude is $10,000,000 to $25,000,000. �� Interested PRIME CONTRACTORS�� �shall submit the following: (1)�� �Your intent to submit a proposal for this project when it is formally advertised. (2)�� �Name of firm with address, phone, and point of contact. (3)�� �DUNS/CAGE code, registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov (4)�� �Size of Firm (Large or Small), to include category of small business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and/or Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), etc. (5)�� �Bonding capability for single contract action in the magnitude of this project. (6)�� �Statement of Capability (SOC) stating your skills, experience, knowledge, and equipment required to perform the specified type of work. The SOC should be no more than two pages in length. Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. �NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. �It is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of potential qualified contractors before determining the method of acquisition.� Place of Contract Performance: Wheeler Army Airfield, Wahiawa, Hawaii �
