Description

�THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE / PROPOSAL The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), on behalf of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), in support of the Pulmonary Medicine Clinic, intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to COVIDEIN Sales, LLC, 15 Hampshire St, Mansfield, MA 02048. The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition pursuant to FAR 13.106-1 (b) Soliciting from a Single Source. The contract is intended to procure preventive maintenance services for the super-Dimension Navigation System. The super-Dimension Navigation System is required to guide endoscopic tools or catheters during biopsy of mediastinal and peripheral lung lesions procedures. It allows access to peripheral lesions that would not otherwise be reached using conventional bronchoscopes. The primary North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities by responding to this notice no later than 10:00am EST, Friday, April 22, 2022 by email to sagry.m.carcamo.ctr@mail.mil and cc: marvin.k.walker.civ@mail.mil. All information submitted should support the offeror�s capability to provide the service required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to cancel the sole source award.
