Description
19 April, 2022 - Response date adjusted to 29 April, 2022 IAW FAR 5.203. After the Synopsis period issuance of a Letter Solicitation is anticipated. *** The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, proposes to issue a solicitation to add the attached list of 17 national stock numbers (NSNs) to sole source contract, SPE4AX-16-D-9436, to Raytheon Technologies Corporation (RTC), Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) codes 52661 and 77445 in accordance with the originally approved Justification and Approval (J&A). However, the NSNs identified here were not included in previous synopsis for this effort. The LTC has two years remaining. The contract requires supply of parts as well as other functions, including but not limited to, inventory management, forecasting, distribution, storage, reliability improvements, engineering maintenance and design control affecting these parts. The identified items have been identified as sole source; however, some items may have history showing awards to other than the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). This requirement will be evaluated individually for award through Rapid Delivery Release (RDR) procedures. It is the Governments intent to use a letter solicitation format to the sole source Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM); therefore, if any non-OEM source is interested in any of the NSNs, please notify the Contracting Officer prior to the synopsis closing date. Surplus dealers are also invited to respond to this synopsis. The response should include a completed surplus certificate, DLAD 52.211-9000, Government Surplus Material or adequate traceability documentation to show that the product is acceptable. (Note: Other Aviation sites will provide their equivalent surplus clause, as applicable). Responses to this announcement from other than the OEM should identify items of interest and include evidence of ability to supply the items for the contract period as identified. In addition, respondents should identify the quantity available and price. A copy of the letter of interest should be forwarded to the contracting officer identified herein and SBA PCR (tammy.birdsong@sba.gov). The Government may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the Government. Any non-OEM source that is interested in supplying any of the attached NSNs should notify Mr. James K. Simms at James.K.Simms@dla.mil, prior to the synopsis closing date. Alternate offers must submit a complete technical data package, along with a Source Approval Request (SAR). Responses to this announcement from other than the OEM should identify items of interest and include evidence of ability to supply the items identified. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed items based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION: Responses to this synopsis must be readable by Microsoft Office or Adobe software. Response to this announcement shall be unclassified and not exceed 20 pages in length. Please note that emails containing file types such as .zip, .xlsx, docx, or other macro-enabled extensions may not be delivered to the intended recipient. All responses and questions under this announcement must be transmitted electronically to Mr. James K.
