- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.� Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR 13.004, Legal Effect of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR 12.302 to be consistent with a request for quotations. This tailoring includes, but is not limited to the following: In accordance with FAR 13.004, a quotation is not an offer, and any clause provision to the contrary is hereby modified to be consistent with FAR 13.004. Where the word �offer/offeror� or a derivative of that word appears, it is changed to �quote/quoter� or a derivative of that word. This procurement is set aside 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730 and the business size standard is $8,000,000. Contract terms will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order (PO).�� U.S. Coast Guard Base Boston requires landscaping services for a total period of performance beginning around May 1, 2022 or within 5 days after award, and ending November 30, 2022. Service requirements are needed at two (2) separate locations, within the same zip code. All interested parties should review and become familiar with the attached two (2) scope of works (SOW) for the locations. Site locations: U.S. Coast Guard owned housing Laurel St. Beverly, MA 01915 U.S. Coast Guard Representational Facility 1 Bayview Ave. Beverly, MA 01915 A site visit may be scheduled with Benjamin Syrstad, Benjamin.R.Syrstad@uscg.mil, PH: (617) 223-3066. It is recommended to schedule a site visit at least 48 hours in advance, to make arrangements with facility personnel and tenants. Same day site visits will not be scheduled. All interested parties are strongly encouraged to conduct a site visit prior to submitting a quote to survey site conditions and terrain. All responsible sources that meet the assigned size standard may submit a quotation, which if received prior to award, shall be considered by the agency. Business must have a valid Unique Entity ID and be registered with System for Award Management (SAM) www.SAM.gov and shall provide this information with their quote. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of quotes meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors. Quotes shall be submitted in accordance with their standard commercial business practices (e.g. on company letterhead, formal quote form, etc.) but must include the following information: Business complete mailing address and remittance address.
