This requirement is not suitable for full and open competition for the following reason(s): The power boards are required to be ruggedized both environmentally and electrically. RTD Embedded Technologies provides these proprietary boards as Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) items. If the Government were to replace these boards with those of another manufacturer, significant additional time and expense would be required to get the alternative products approved for use on the SDV. As such RTD Embedded Technologies is the only source capable of meeting this requirement. NAICS Code 334118 applies. Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. FSC is 5998.
