Description

The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Kayenta Service Unit, Kayenta, AZ intends to award a non-competitive, sole source contract to Sacred Mountain Medical Services, Inc., for Inter-Facility Ground Transportation Services for the entire Kayenta Service Unit, which consists of the Kayenta Health Center, in Kayenta, AZ; the Inscription House Health Center, in Tonalea, AZ; and Dennehotso Health Station, in Dennehotso, AZ. The Period of Performance for this request shall begin on the Date of Award through December 31, 2022. The Contractor, Scared Mountain Medical Service, Inc, is the only organization uniquely qualified to provide the required services to ensure that there is no interruption in services that could impact direct patient care. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received by 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, the contract will be issued without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Responses may be emailed to ROXANNE.FRANKLIN@ihs.gov by the deadline stated above. All vendors are hereby notified that if your response is not received by the date and time specified in this notice, it will not be considered.
