- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to provide Leith Creek Channel Repair, Sampson County, North Carolina, number W912PM22B0009. PLEASE NOTE, THE BID OPENING IS GOING TO BE DELAYED AND WILL NOT�BE HELD 08 APRIL.� AN AMENDMENT IS FORTHCOMING AND WILL BE POSTED ON WWW.SAM.GOV.� DO NOT MAIL IN BIDS AT THIS TIME UNTIL THE BID OPENING DATE HAS BEEN UPDATED.� NEW ESTIMATED DATE IS THE WEEK OF 18 APRIL. Description of Work: The project consists of cutting and removal approximately 52 large trees from the channel and banks (leaning and falling); replacing three small, damaged storm drain culverts; excavating and placement of rip rap for outlet protection at seven (7) storm drain pipe outlets; clearing sediment and debris from within channel (~400 CY of Sediment); grading and placement of rip rap for bank stabilization (approx. 100 feet of bank). This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.� This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about March 9, 2022.� The bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, facsimiles, etc) will be provided.�� Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available.
