- BLM-CO Communications Tower Reinforcement The purpose of this amendment is to update the projected solicitation release date to May 5th, 2022. This is a presolicitation synopsis for a soon to be released solicitation reinforcing tower footings on Hill 71 (elevation 12000 feet) located near Lake City, Colorado . The tower was studied last year with the recommended reinforcement procedures described in the attachments. The work may required specialized skills and equipment. Access to the site is limited to high clearance 4WD with several steep water bars to cross. The Government estimates the rough order of magnitude for this project to between $25,000 and $100,000 with a budget toward the upper end of the scale. Projected solicitation release date: 5 MAY 2022. Site Visit: Will be scheduled and announced soon. I just talked with the PM and it may be a few weeks before this site can be accessed. Will most likely start with an MS Teams Video Conference. Follow this solicitation for changes. Basic Contracting Requirements: 1. Active Registration -www.sam.gov - Check it and note your new SAM UEI 2. Invoicing and Payment - www.ipp.gov - 14 Day Prompt Pay 3. FAR Part 12 - Construction Provisions and Clauses 4. FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures 5. Construction Wages for Hinsdale County, CO 6. Bonding - 20% bid bond, 100% performance and payment 7. Total Small Business Set Aside 8. Contract Type - Firm Fixed Price 9. Award Basis - Low Price Technically Acceptable Instructions: Please update your marketing literature with your new SAM Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). It has already been assigned to you if you had an existing registration in www.SAM.Gov. To find it just log in to SAM and note your new 12 alpha-numeric ID. Starting from April 4th, the SAM UEI is the ONLY identifier the Federal Government uses to identify you in our systems and for you to include on your response forms. Your DUNS number was deleted from our systems and is no longer used for Federal Business.
