NOTE:� This is a Sources Sought publication ONLY. This announcement is issued solely for information and planning purposes only (i.e., market research) � it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), Invitation for Bid (IFB), or a Request for Proposal (RFP); or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB, or RFQ in the future. This publication does not obligate the United States (US) Government to any contract award. This notice does not restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. Responses to this publication shall be for informational purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this publication. Submittals will not be returned to the responder.� 1. CONTRACT INFORMATION: The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Northwestern Division (NWD) Seattle District (NWS) performs industrial hygiene sampling for operational and construction projects that involve collection of primary samples, split samples, and/or quality assurance samples from various industrial operations. Once these samples are collected, analysis by an accredited laboratory is necessary.����������� 2.� PROJECT SCOPE: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform chemical analytical services for industrial hygiene sample analysis as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor�s laboratory shall maintain active and current American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA)�-accreditation or must meet the International Organization for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Commission (ISO/IEC) 17025 international standard to ensure the results reported have been generated by a laboratory with a known and certified quality system. The contractor shall perform laboratory analysis services, chemical analysis of heavy metals, ozone, asbestos, and other industrial hygiene air samples. Anticipated services include the following methods: Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) ID-215 v2 with Institute of Medicine (IOM) Sampler, Hexavalent Chromium National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) 7300, Welding Fumes NIOSH 7500+0600, Silica, Crystalline Quartz (with Respirable Dust) NIOSH 7400, Asbestos (A Rule) NIOSH 9102, Lead OSHA ID-214, Ozone �� 3.� CONTRACT TYPE: This acquisition is subject to FAR Part 12 and 13. One solicitation will be issued for the acquisition consisting of a Request for Quote (RFQ). The anticipated award date is August 2022. 4.� SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:� The Government is seeking to identify qualified sources under the anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 541380 � Testing Laboratories. Size Standard $16.5M. In response to this source sought, please submit the attached Market Research Questionnaire, along with other documents (e.g., capabilities relative to the subject requirement) electronically via email no later than 5 May 2022 at or before 12:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) to Contracting Officer John Solomon at john.s.solomon@usace.army.mil.
