- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented by FAR 13, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N0018922QZ152 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are provided as an attachment to this synopsis. This requirement is being competed as a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 221122 � All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing. The small business employee size standard is 500.� The Philadelphia Division, Contracting Department of NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price contract for this requirement. REQUIREMENT: The Navy has a requirement seeking qualified Eaton UPS provider maintenance for 4 very large Eaton UPS units that provide power for the Master Clock.� Consistent power during all possible external forcing functions is vital to keeping the clocks, measurement systems, and management computers operational.� The UPS units have internal computers that control the system and provide telemetry and alarm information to Master Clock automatic monitoring systems. Services will be inspected and accepted at Destination by the Government. The anticipated award date is 03 May 2021. This requirement does include one (1) twelve (12) month base period with three (3) one (1) year option periods. The contracts combined total (base plus option periods) of 60 months from the award date. �The Period of Performance is anticipated to start on 04 May 2022 and continue through 03 May 2023. The contract line item number, item description, quantities and consumable items list are listed in Attachment 1 Section A. SUBMISSION OF QUOTES: Initial quotes and any modifications thereto are due on or before 28 April 2022 at 9:00AM Eastern local time.
