Description
***** This project is 100% Small Business Set-Aside Invitation for Bid (IFB)***** The project consists of but is not limited to the repair, construction, and installation of the following: 1. Objectives and Requirements: The renovation of the space that will meet all Army standards, andthe Unified Facilities Criteria and DoD AT/FP regulations. The 40,000 SF renovation located onthe east half of the second floor will support LEAD employees maintaining and repairing missileequipment. The space will include a large, open area with significant access to power andtelecom/data via ceiling and raised access flooring to provide LEAD with the ability to lay out thespace with cubicles and repair pods as needed. Architectural, MEP disciplines will be requiredfor the renovation of the space. A full removal and replacement of FP/FA/MNS systems isrequired for the entire building within this scope of work. If this requirement is not completedexisting spaces within the building will remain un-utilized or under-utilized and will not allowmission within the building to be performed to full extent, and mission may be compromised dueto ongoing building envelope leaks, potentially resulting to damage to equipment or systemswithin the building and posing a hazard to life safety. 2. Final Record Drawings (As-Builts): Submit the As-Builts drawings after completion of workto correctly show the features of the project as it has been constructed by bringing the contractset into agreement with approved working as-built prints, and adding such additional drawings asmay be necessary. These working as-built marked prints must be neat, legible, and accurate.Provide version files for As-Builts as dictated in specifications. 3. Permits and Licenses: The Contractor shall, at his/her own expense, obtain any license orpermits required to perform the contract. The Contractor shall comply with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations and shall comply with any subsequent changes. The contractorshall be responsible for all design efforts and application fees associated with obtaining thepermits. Obtain the necessary permits to perform the work cited above.
