- STATEMENT OF WORK 4520Z Kubota 32 HP Gas Powered Brand Name or Equal to 1.0 General 1.1 Background The mission of the Hershel Woody Williams VAMC is to provide care for Veterans in a safe environment. The mission of the Maintenance and Operations Ground Section is to ensure a beautiful, healing environment that is safe and accessible throughout the year. This acquisition provides for the ability to maintain the landscaping while offering the safety features needed. The medical center sits on 106 acres, over 76 of them are maintained by the ground crew. The maintained property has some flat acreage, but the majority is on a 15%-18% grade. Delivery vehicles shall keep traffic disruptions to a minimum. 4.0 Evaluation Factors: Salient Characteristics, delivery, and price, authorization letter to distribute. Salient Characteristics are more important than price. Technical Acceptance of Salient Characteristics and Delivery/Lead Time are more important than Price.
