- AFCEC/COMR has an urgent need to procure 6 locally manufactured aircraft arresting system components that either do not have an NSN assigned to them or are not stocked in Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) depots: a) Transition (Elbow) 90 degree angle with flange end plates, 304 stainless steel, BAK-15, P/N: 52-B-7587-1, Qty: 12 b) Procure & modify large stainless steel single door wall mount enclosure, BAK-15, manufacture: Schaefer, size: 48"" x 36"" x 16"", P/N: SPN4SS-483616, Qty: 12 c) Procure & modify 304 small stainless steel single door wall mount enclosure, BAK-15, manufacture: Schaefer, size: 20"" x 16"" x 8"", P/N: SPN4SS-20168 Qty: 12 d) Fabricate aluminum backing plate, large enclosure, BAK-15, P/N: A48P326, Qty: 12 e) Procure and modify backing plate (sub panel) small enclosure, aluminum, BAK-15, manufacture: Schaefer, size: 20"" X 16"" P/N: SPP2016, Qty: 12 f) Fabricate support, large enclosure, 304 stainless steel, BAK-15, P/N: 52-C-7369-1, Qty: 24 The contractor shall furnish all required parts, equipment, material, and labor to provide the following item in accordance with (IAW) all applicable codes, specifications, and industry/federal standards to CEMIRT at Tyndall AFB, Florida. This requirement is for the procurement of parts and equipment for BAK-15 energy absorber repair, replacement, and fielding on a global scale for the Civil Engineer Maintenance Inspection Repair Team (CEMIRT) (Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC)) See attached Statement of Work and Drawings for details.
