- Description
- Spangdahlem Airbase requires Patient Liaison and Medical Translation services for eligible TRICARE beneficiaries as scheduled by the Government for the 52d Medical Group (MDG) and 852d Medical Squadron (MS), also referred to as the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). The Patient Liaison shall provide support to, and serve as the link for communication between, the patient, the MTF, and host nation facilities and other services in the local German health care system for inpatient stays and outpatient referral appointments. The Patient Liaison shall visit patients hospitalized in host nation facilities within a 45-mile radius of Spangdahlem AB including but not limited to Marienhausklinik (Bitburg), Verbundkrankenhaus (Wittlich), Krankenhaus der Barmherigen Brueder (Trier), and Klinikum Mutterhaus der Borromaerrinnen (Trier). The service for the Krankenhaus der Barmherzigen Brueder (Trier) and Klinikum Mutterhaus der Borromaerrinnen (Trier) shall be combined. The Medical translator will provide service at the MTF. For Geilenkirchen NATO AB the following sites including but not limited to St. Elisabeth Krankenhaus (Geilenkirchen), Aachen University, Stadtisches Krankenhaus Heinsberg and Atrium Hospital (Heerlen) are applicable. The Government intends to award to the lowest priced offeror; the Government may award without discussions, reserving the right to hold discussions if deemed necessary by the CO. To be considered for award, all quotes must be submitted in English and be received no later than 9 May 2022, 1400 hrs Central European Standard Time (CEST). Quotes shall only be sent via e-mail to grant.wilson.1@us.af.mil, anja.weber-sabo.1.de@us.af.mil, and claudia.mans.1.de@us.af.mil. Hard-copy quotes will not be accepted. Emailed quotes must be received in the stated email address inboxes on time and the addressee must be able to open the email and all attachments. It is the quoter's responsibility to confirm the timely receipt of the quotes by the stated addresses. Questions concerning this RFQ shall be submitted electronically via e-mail to the above POCs no later than 28 April 2022, 15:30 hrs (CEST). Questions solicited by any other method will not be considered/answered.
