- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Branson Ultrasonics Corporation, 120 Park Ridge Road, Brookfield, Connecticut 06804-3980, (Cage Code: 1MRS6) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East, MCAS Cherry Point, NC has a requirement to establish a contract for start up support and training for a Branson model B950P Industrial Cleaning Equipment. This contractor is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the only source capable of providing the required service.� Therefore, the government intends to procure this service on a sole source basis from Branson Ultrasonics Corporation, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the equipment.� THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within five (5) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered.�� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
