Description: The Great Plains Area Indian Health Service hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source, firm fixed-price contract for a commerecially available off the shelf (COTS), for final instalallation and impletemntation of the Jeron Nurse Call System at IHS Health Care Faclities throughout the Great Plains Area.� The period of performance will be from dat of award through July 31, 2022. The estimated value is lower than the simplified acquisition threshold. The sole source contracting action is pursuing a waiver from placing an order on a competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and is based on market reserarch as the vendor is the only company authorized by the manufacturer/distributor for installation of the nurse call system for the Great Plains Area.� Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of agency standardization, date center standardization, and network security.� The determination not to compete this proposed action is solely within the discrtion of the Government. Information received normally will be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
