Description

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. Pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i), the Department of the Navy (DON), on behalf of the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Corpus Christi, TX and Ft. Worth, TX intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Sysmex America, Inc. at 577 Aptakisic Rd Lincolnshire, IL 60069-4325 for a 6-part differential Hematology Analyzer cost-per-test.� This requirement is for one (1) base and four (4) option years.� Sysmex America, Inc. is the manufacturer and sole provider for the only model XN-450 that offers a 6-part differential Hematology System as identified on the Statement of Work Statement (SOW) and redacted Sole Source Justification (SSJ).� ��� This notice of intent (NOI) will be distributed through the General Services Administration (GSA) eBuy and SAM.gov websites. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the sites to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.� For this action, the North American Classification System Code (NAIC) is 334516 and Product Service Code (PCS) is 6550. Based on market research and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined that the DON's requirement can only be provided by Sysmex American, Inc., as they are the sole proprietor authorized to provide the requested services and products. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all interested parties may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be evaluated and or considered for award.� All interested parties shall provide a response to this requirement to this office NLT 12:00 pm, EST, 29 April 2022.� Responses will be accepted via GSA, SAM or email to the attention of Dene Slater, Contract Specialist, at dene.l.slater.civ@mail.mil.� Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
