- Sources Sought Notice- Two (2) Full Time Employee (FTE) Elevator Mechanics, Perry Point VAMC This is a Sources Sought Notice; it is not a Request for Quotes or Proposals. The VA Maryland Health Care System, Perry Point VA Medical Center is seeking sources to provide two (2) qualified elevator mechanics 80-hours per week (40-hrs/each), 52-weeks per year between Monday through Friday excluding Federal Holidays. 1st-shift 7:00am to 3:30pm and 2nd-shift 8:30am to 5:00pm. This includes 30-minute lunch. Qualification for elevator mechanics: Evidence/proof of completion of national elevator training programs, such as NEIEP or CET programs through NAEC. (NACE- The National Association of Elevator Contractors, CET-Certified Elevator Technician, NEIEP-National Elevator Industry Educational Program) Provide 7-years of current documented continuous service as an elevator mechanic Licensed Elevator Mechanic in the state of Maryland The (2) elevator mechanics must remain on site during the agreed daily 8-hours of operation The anticipated date of a solicitation is May 11th, 2022, with an expected period of performance starting October 1st, 2022, to September 30th, 2023, using NAICS CODE 561210, Facilities Support Services, size $38.5 million. Vendors will not receive formal notification or feedback on any information submitted in this Sources Sought Notice. All future proposed submissions and solicitations requirements solicited on a Government Point of Entry (GPE) will be evaluated independently of any information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice. No vendor will be provided information on solicitations issued on a Government Point of Entry based on this Sources Sought Notice. Potential Sources shall provide their Capability Statement and it must be clear, concise, and complete.
