- Sources Sought Notice-On-Site Document Destruction, Maryland VA Healthcare System This is a Sources Sought Notice; it is not a Request for Quotes or Proposals. The VA Maryland Health Care System is seeking On-Site Document Destruction Services Location pick up: The Baltimore VA Medical Center, Annex, Perry Point VA Medical Center, Loch Raven VA Community Living & Rehabilitation Center and four community-based outpatient clinics Specification: Vendor shall provide services in compliance with National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) requirements and guidelines. Contractor shall verify that hard copy materials are crosscut shredded, incinerated or pulped such that there is reasonable assurance that the hard copy materials cannot be reconstructed. Work Hours-Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm All destruction will take place within the enclosure of the destruction facility, which consists of four solid walls and a ceiling, and meets all criteria related to physical building security The only permissible uses of a mobile destruction vehicle will be within the enclosure of the destruction facility, on-site at the VA s premises, or at an off-site location if approved of in advance by VA and is located within walking distance of the VA premises. The mobile destruction vehicle will be made available to VA for audit, within the enclosure of the destruction facility, during the initial audit and during all scheduled re-audits, for demonstration purposes. Containers Contractor will be required to supply approved locking containers 32-, 64-, and 96-gallon sizes, to accommodate paper/records collection at each campus location at no charge to the VAMHCS. The anticipated date of a solicitation is May 11th, 2022, with an expected period of performance starting October 1st, 2022, to September 30th, 2023, using NAICS CODE 561990, All Other Support Services, size $12.0 million. Vendors will not receive formal notification or feedback on any information submitted in this Sources Sought Notice. All future proposed submissions and solicitations requirements solicited on a Government Point of Entry (GPE) will be evaluated independently of any information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice. No vendor will be provided information on solicitations issued on a Government Point of Entry based on this Sources Sought Notice. Potential Sources shall provide their Capability Statement and it must be clear, concise, and complete.
