Sources Sought Notification This is a Sources Sought Announcement issued by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for informational and planning purposes only. This is NOT a solicitation, nor is it an announcement for a forthcoming solicitation. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred in providing a response. The USDA has a requirement for a Neutron Generator replacement component in an existing instrument, located at the USDA-ARS Soil Dynamics Research Lab in Auburn, AL., in accordance with the �following specifications.� The neutron generator is a component of a �Mobil Inelastic Neutron Scattering� soil scanner system instrument that is specifically designed to utilize the neutron generator described. Specifications: Neutron Generator Requirements Nominal Max.
