Description
Central Texas Veterans Health Care System Statement of Work Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS)has a requirement to fund the GE Healthcare Aestiva MRI System and supply and deliver the item(s) identified in Table 1 below. See salient characteristics below. This requirement is in support of the CTVHCS ability to conduct MRIs for those individuals who require anesthetic sedation. The CTVHCS has the need for this MRI-safe anesthesia machine, as it works with the current local system. Some anesthesia machines are designed specifically for use in magnetic resonance imaging [MRI] environments, i.e., MRI-compatible anesthesia units, and are made from nonmagnetic materials so that they can be safely used in an MRI suite.
