Description

This notice is being completed to meet the requirement for Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(1). This is not a solicitation. The 47th Contracting Flight at Laughlin Air Force Base (AFB) located in Del Rio TX, will be issuing a Purchase Order (PO) as soon as funds become available. The Purchase Order will consist of an Equipment Service Agreement for the Cell Dyn Lab Ruby Analyzer (Hematology) Equipment Serial Number: 55731BG located within the 47th Medical Group at Laughlin AFB, TX. This agreement will for one base year and four option year periods. Support includes adequate telephone support, field support, maintenance, repair, and access to other laboratory services as required by the 47 MDG Laboratory (Lab).� Ultimately, this will ensure continued patient hematology testing without prolonged work stoppages, and potentially prolong the life expectancy of this government owned asset by an additional five years.� The Abbott Cell-Dyn Ruby hematology analyzer is a proprietary medical equipment asset to be serviced only by Abbott Laboratories, Inc field service representative(s)/technician(s).� Only Abbott field service representatives(FSR's) are trained and certified to support, repair, and update Abbott equipment.� Therefore, award will be accomplished as a single source award using FAR Part 13 procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811219 with a size standard of $22,000,000.00 This is the only notice that will be posted through the Federal Point of Entry, SAM.gov; no solicitation will be posted on Sam.Gov. �Please submit any questions or concerns to POCs within 10 days of this notice.
