Description
�TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS LOWER MONUMENTAL DAM REPLACEMENT STAFF GAUGES INTENT The following specifications and salient characteristics pertain to the purchase of replacement staff gauges for the forebay, fish ladder exits, collection channel and tailraces at Lower Monumental Project.� SCOPE The successful offeror shall be required to furnish and deliver staff gauges in accordance with Section 3.0, Equipment Requirements. ��Delivery shall be in accordance with Section 6.0, Shipment and Delivery (8 weeks After Delivery of Contract).� �EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS The staff gauges listed below shall meet the following salient characteristics: 3.1� Staff Gauges (Forebay and fish ladder exit): Quantity:� 4 each Replacement Staff Gauge must be an �S� style stencil gage Must be constructed of Fiberglas Reinforced Plastic Have Ultra-Violet (UV) inhibitor properties Corrosion resistant White in color Marked in 1/10 of a foot increment in Black Every foot marked with black 3-inch numerals starting from 536 to 542 feet Size:� 8.75 inches Width x 6 feet height x 1/8 inch thick Replacement staff gauge must fit into current frame holder already mounted Surface shall be smooth to allow easy cleaning and maintenance. 3.2� Staff Gauges (Tailrace Channel): Quantity:� 2 each Replacement Staff Gauge must be an �S� style stencil gage Must be constructed of Fiberglas Reinforced Plastic Have Ultra-Violet (UV) inhibitor properties Corrosion resistant White in color Marked in 1/10 of a foot increments in Black Every foot marked with black 3-inch numerals starting from 436 to 445 feet Size:� 8.75 inches Width x 9 feet Height x 1/8 inch thick (can be in two sections) Replacement staff gauge must fit into current frame holder already mounted Surface shall be smooth to allow easy cleaning and maintenance. 3.3� Staff Gauges (South Powerhouse Collection Channel): Quantity:� 1 each Replacement Staff Gauge must be an �S� style stencil gage Must be constructed of Fiberglas Reinforced Plastic Have Ultra-Violet (UV) inhibitor properties Corrosion resistant White in color Marked in 1/10 of a foot increments in Black Every foot marked with black 3-inch numerals starting from 437 to 446 feet Size:� 8.75 inches Width x 9 feet Height x 1/8 inch thick (can be in two sections) Replacement staff gauge must fit into current frame holder already mounted Surface shall be smooth to allow easy cleaning and maintenance. 3.4� Staff Gauges (North Shore Collection Channel): Quantity:� 1 each Replacement Staff Gauge must be an �S� style stencil gage Must be constructed of Fiberglas Reinforced Plastic Have Ultra-Violet (UV) inhibitor properties Corrosion resistant White in color Marked in 1/10 of a foot increments in Black Every foot marked with black 3-inch numerals starting from 437 to 445 feet Size:� 8.75 inches Width x 8 feet Height x 1/8 inch thick Replacement staff gauge must fit into current frame holder already mounted Surface shall be smooth to allow easy cleaning and maintenance. �SUBMITTALS The vendor shall provide cut sheets with dimensions, drawings, etc. with the proposal for the Government to review for technical acceptability.� All proposal information will be sent with your quote to the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialist doing the solicitation.� Offerors shall be of sufficient in detail to show conformance to the specifications and salient characteristics provided above.� Failure to provide acceptable proof of conformance or failure to meet the requirement of the specifications may result in disqualification from award.� Pricing shall be sufficient as to allow the government to determine the price is fair and reasonable.� WARRANTY: All Staff gauges shall be covered by a minimum one-year manufactures warranty on all parts, labor, and workmanship from factory defects.� SHIPMENT AND DELIVERY All items shall be delivered FOB to Lower Monumental Dam 8 weeks after contract award. The contractor shall be responsible for packing and shipping the components in a manner that will ensure undamaged and complete arrival. No shipments are allowed other than normal business hours of Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM � 4:00 PM, excluding federal holidays.
