Description
***THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY; THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ)*** The 119th WG North Dakota Air National Guard (NDANG) is seeking Small Business contractors interested in providing resort services within 125 miles of the Fargo, ND area for two events: Marriage Retreat - Resort Singles Event - Hotel MARRIAGE RETREAT: For the marriage retreat, the venue should be able to host up to 15 couples plus up to 2 presenter couples, for a total of 17 rooms. In addition, the venue should have an appropriate meeting space that can seat that capacity with the ability to spread the couples out far enough that they do not have to overhear everything other couples might be discussing. This ballroom/meeting room and the lodging must be available for two nights (Friday and Saturday). The venue should also be able to provide breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning as well as lunch on Saturday. The event will start with an opening session on Friday evening. Then run Saturday morning and afternoon, taking a break for the catered lunch. It will pick up again on Sunday after breakfast and end around 11:00 AM for checking out. Certain amenities make for a helpful marriage retreat. An onsite spa/massage therapist, pub and restaurant would be preferred. Immediate access to walking paths and water (lake, river, and stream) are also preferred for the couples to have some quiet time outside. Being close to restaurants for Saturday night is also imperative, however, because that is set aside as a date night and couples will not all want to attend the same single restaurant together, but will want to have options, with the ability to walk along paths or the beach/water front after dinner. For time-frame: July with the proposed weekends of the 16th, 23rd and/or 30th. SINGLES EVENT: The intent is to have a Friday evening and Saturday singles retreat, focused on helping Airmen make healthy choices in their relationships. The venue should have lodging for Friday night and be close to restaurants and pubs that would be relaxing and fun for the Airmen. The venue should also have catering in order to have a breakfast provided and a Saturday lunch provided. The programming would have an opening session Friday evening and then begin Saturday after breakfast and continue into the afternoon. In addition to lodging and catering capabilities, the venue should have audio-visual equipment that could be used in conjunction with a government provided laptop. Regarding capacity, the ability to host up to 25 plus two or three presenters from the chaplains office would be required. Time-frame: Late June and late July, avoiding the 4th of July. This Sources Sought notice is being issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, Market Research.
