- Description
- Description: The U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), Project Manager for Soldier Training Devices (PM ST), Product Manager for Live Training Systems (PdM LTS), Digital Range Training System (DRTS) has a validated requirement to install an additional Digital Air Ground Integration (DAGIR) Range at Fort Knox, KY. A DAGIR is the largest and most complex live fire range that the Army utilizes at its Home Station. The DAGIR supports all Aviation gunnery tables to include diving fire and door gunnery. It supports platoon level collective training for all gunnery tables for Abrams, Bradley, (and all dismounted infantry), and aviation. DAGIR supports individual and crew qualification training. It used thermal targets, night illumination devices, hostile-fire, target kill, and visual flash. Its approximate footprint threshold is 4Km x6Km. The range's primary features included in this effort are: - IT equipment utilizing the DRTS Live Training Transformation (LT2) software. - After Action Review (AAR) System. - Vehicle and Dismounted (DMT) Player Units (PUs). - Radio Communication System Other features that are being provided to the range from other contracts�include: - Stationary Armor Targets (SATs), Moving Armor Targets (MATs), Stationary Infantry Targets (SITs), and Moving Infantry Targets (MITs). - Air/Ground Integration Village. - Aerial Weapons Scoring System (AWSS) - Long Range Thermal Field Cameras (FCs). 1. The intent of this announcement is to provide the DRAFT Request for Proposal for the DRTS Ft Knox DAGIR, Solicitation No. W900KK-22-R-0018.�DRAFT Solicitation and all Attachments have�been included�as part of this announcement. 2. Questions and comments regarding the DRAFT RFP shall be submitted�to Contract Specialist, Patricia Ward, email:�patricia.ward2.civ@army.mil and Contracting Officer, Erica N. Numa, email: erica.n.numa.civ@army.mil using attached entitled document ""Government Spreadsheet DRTS Ft Knox DAGIR Questions"". Questions are due by 6 May 2022, 3:00 PM. 3. This is a DRAFT RFP and proposals are not being requested at this time. The Government will not pay for any information received, or reimburse costs incurred, as a result of this announcement. Any costs associated with a response is solely at the interested respondent's expense. 4. The Government anticipated award date is 4th quarter of FY 22.
