- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Landscape Maintenance in Juneau AK (I)����������� This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II)��������� This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).� Submit written quotes on RFQ Number NWWV93812200075VES. (III)������� The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-04 (JAN 2022) (DEVIATION 2020-11) (AUG 2020). �(IV)������� This solicitation is being issued as a total small-business set aside. The associated NAICS code is 561730.� The size standard is $8 Million. (V)��������� This combined solicitation/synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial services: Landscape Maintenance, base period plus four option periods. (VI)�������� Description of requirements is as follows: Lawn and Landscape Services:� The contract will cover routine, recurring services such as mowing, edging, and removal of residual clippings.� All equipment, materials, and supplies shall be furnished by the Contractor.� No storage space is available onsite; all equipment and supplies shall be removed by the Contractor after each service. Fuel canisters shall not be stored on the premises. The use of Round-Up brand weed and moss killer, herbicides, and fertilizer is prohibited. The Contractor shall bring any noted defect, disease, or insect infestation of the grounds to the attention of the MIC or designate. Spring Cleanup: Upon Award Initial spring cleanup of premises shall occur in the month of award as weather permits, prior to the first grass cutting in May. Include initial cleanup of premises shall include: Sweep and removal of winter sand and gravel from parking lot and adjacent grass areas Thatch and rake. Dispose of dead grass/weeds/twigs/etc. resulting from thatching.� Apply moss and weed killer. Apply fertilizer to lawn, shrubs, and trees. Landscape Services:� May 2022 � Initial landscape service shall occur during the month of May 2022 and maintained annually. Trim and shape bushes/shrubs, and cut to avoid sidewalk overhang Refresh ground covering under all bushes, trees, shrubs, and inside raised beds. Initial service to include fresh ground cover. Alternating option years to include refreshed groundcover. Prune, trim, maintain, and shape in area in front of building, near back of building near generator shed. Weed and tidy boulders in raised beds in front of building Twice-Monthly Services: May � September (performed between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.) Once in the first two weeks of the month and a second time in the last two weeks of the month. September requires only one monthly service. Mow lawn area twice monthly.� This includes weeding and fertilizing as needed.� Remove any grass clippings from all sidewalks and parking areas. Trim/edge along sidewalk areas. PERIODS OF PERFORMANCE: Spring Cleanup: Upon Award Twice Monthly Services: Base Period: Date of Award� � September 30, 2022 Option Period 1: May 1, 2023 � September 30, 2023 Option Period 2: May 1, 2024 � September 30, 2024 Option Period 3: May 1, 2025 � September 30, 2025 Option Period 4: May 1, 2026 � September 30, 2026 Twice-Monthly Services: (performed between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.) Once in the first two weeks of the month and a second time in the last two weeks of the month. April and September require only one monthly service. Each option year thereafter shall be the same timeframe within that calendar year. See attached Statement of Work for more information and Wage Determination Number 2015-5685 Rev 17, which applies to this acquisition. (VII) PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Weather Service (NWS) Weather Forecast Office (WFO) Juneau � WV9381 8500 Mendenhall Loop Road Juneau, Alaska 99801 COVID-19 Federal COVID-19 protocols, all on-site contractor employees will be required to complete the non-Federal Employee and Visitor Certification Form attached and carry a copy with them when reporting to any DOC worksite. Additionally, those who do not certify they are fully vaccinated, or who decline to provide vaccination status, must obtain a negative COVID-19 test in order to access a DOC operating location or facility, per Senior Procurement Executive Message, provided upon request. �SEE ATTACHED SUPPORT DOCUMENTS FOR MORE INFORMATION. THERE IS NOT AN INCUMBENT ON THIS CONTRACT NOR IS A CURRENT CONTRACT IN PLACE.
