- The Embassy of the United States of America invites you to submit a proposal for the provision of passenger transportation services: vehicles with drivers for the official VIP visits in Belgium. Proposals may be submitted in electronic format.� The electronic proposal should be submitted via email to BrusselsBids@state.gov in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. Alternatively, your proposal can be submitted in a sealed envelope marked �Passenger transportation services 19BE2022Q0006 Enclosed"" to the U.S. Embassy, Regentlaan/Bd. Du R�gent 27, 1000 Brussels - Belgium. Please inform us via email to BrusselsBids@state.gov that a hard copy of your proposal can be expected. In both cases, please submit your offer on or before 1600 Hrs. on May 27, 2022. No proposal will be accepted after this time. The site visit (pre-proposal conference) will be held virtually on May 5th, 2022 at 11:00AM via Microsoft Teams (including dial-in option).� Prospective offerors/quoters should contact Marc Hildwein at BrusselsBids@state.gov prior COB May 3rd, 2022 to confirm their presence. Offerors are urged to submit written questions at least three days before the scheduled pre-proposal conference date, using the address provided in block 9 of Standard Form 33, Solicitation, Offeror and Award, of this solicitation or by emailing the questions to the above email address, marked to the attention of the above-named individual. Attendees may also bring written questions to the proposal conference; however, if the answer requires research, there is no guarantee that the question will be able to be answered at that conference. In order for a proposal to be considered, you must also complete and submit the following: 1.�������� SF-1449 2.�������� Section 1, Pricing Schedule 3.�������� Section 5, Representations and Certifications; 4.�������� Additional information as required in Section 3. Direct any questions regarding this solicitation to Marc Hildwein, Contracting Officer, or Gladys Taverniers in the GSO/Procurement Office by letter or by e-mail (BrusselsBids@state.gov) during regular business hours. The successful offeror shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 5.207. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.� The guidelines for registration in SAM are also available at: https://www.fsd.gov/fsd-gov/learning-center-system.do?sysparm_system=SAM The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price.� We intend to award a contract based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.
